Introduction
This paper consists of the research interest of how employers and their employees can be sensitised to overcome potential challenges by involving people with disabilities at work. To narrow down the focus of the topic, the study targets the tourism industry within its culinary field (gastronomy) in Switzerland.

Challenge
By incorporating interviews from different social institutions and their employees, as well as, secondary research, the analysis tries to measure the level of workers’ awareness in depth to understand better the challenges of integrating handicapped people at work and offering a solution.

Deliverable
This student research project outcome is providing a holistic proposition towards overcoming the exclusion of people with an impairment in the first labour market. The main problem is that social security has no money to support and provide sustainable solutions in terms of education and work labour. The holistic outcome of this insight is that the government needs to think ahead and establish measures in order to harmonise and solve social issues.

Conclusion
In summary, our society would be more conscious of people with any kind of impairments if the Swiss government and the politicians assumed responsibility in the matter of inclusion. One should continue to try to prevent the exclusion of citizens of Switzerland. However, one should also ensure that people with handicaps are challenged, excited about working in the first labour market, and, above all, have a normal and boundaryless life. Therefore, it is worth to whom it may concern, to consider Sweden as an example of a role model and follow their application of human-centred, inspirational and efficient systems. This paper includes some recommendations to draw the first outlines inspired by the concept of Samhall in order to rethink the social system of Switzerland in a sustainable way. Thus, it is the duty of the state to guarantee the rights of its citizens and to ensure stability for everyone, regardless of background and capacity to reach a sustainable solution that works for all participants.
